This covers shipping, insurance for 14 days, packaging, condition report and other sundry costs.
On receipt of the instrument or bow.
Not without the written permission of Maple Violins. Any alteration without permission will be regarded as acceptance of the instrument or bow and the trial will end immediately.
We advise keeping the shipping box your instrument was sent in during the trial period. If you decide it’s not the right instrument for you, simply re-pack and inform us of your decision. We will arrange our shipper to collect at a convenient time and issue a refund of the purchase price on receipt. The admin fee is retained by us to cover the cost of the trial.
We use expert shippers and your instrument will be fully insured through our partners Segurio. The insurance policy details will be sent before collection is arranged.
We will release five working days after the end of the trial window.
Usually, there is no charge unless some restoration costs have been agreed in advance.
VAT is charged at the standard rate on our commission only.
